• Healing and Redemption begin here.

    Discover the way God designed you.

    Before you were born, God wove a unique temperament into your very being — an inborn design that shapes how you connect with others, how you make decisions, and how you give and receive love. Temperament therapy begins there: not with what's wrong with you, but with how you were made.

    Using the Arno Profile System, a respected Christian assessment used by pastoral counselors for decades, we identify your God-given temperament and shine light on the places where life, wounds, and learned behavior have pulled you away from living as your true self. What follows is not a label — it's a homecoming.

    For Individuals:

    Understand yourself. Find peace with how you're made.

    So many of us spend years asking, "Why do I keep responding this way?" Temperament therapy answers that question with remarkable clarity. In individual counseling, your temperament profile helps us understand:

    • Why certain situations drain you while others bring you life
    • Where anxiety, anger, or withdrawal may be signals of unmet temperament needs
    • The difference between who God made you to be and the mask you've learned to wear
    • How to care for yourself in ways that actually fit your design

    Clients often describe their first temperament session as the moment everything finally made sense. From that foundation, real growth becomes possible — not by striving to become someone else, but by becoming more fully who you already are in Christ.

    For Couples:

    Stop asking "What's wrong with you?" Start asking "How are we made differently?"

    Many marriage conflicts aren't character problems — they're temperament collisions. One spouse needs closeness; the other needs quiet. One decides quickly; the other needs time. Without understanding, these differences harden into resentment. With understanding, they become the very places a marriage grows strong.

    In couples counseling, temperament therapy helps you:

    • See your spouse's needs and responses through compassion instead of frustration
    • Learn how each of you gives and receives love, and why it so often gets lost in translation
    • Replace repeated arguments with real understanding of what's underneath them
    • Build a marriage where both of you are known, accepted, and free to be who God made you
    • When couples stop trying to change each other and start honoring each other's design, conflict loses its grip — and tenderness returns.

    For Families:

    A home where every member is understood.

    Every family is a gathering of different temperaments under one roof — and much of the friction between parents and children comes from expecting everyone to operate the same way. A quiet, thoughtful child is not being difficult. A strong-willed child is not beyond reach. They are responding out of their design.

    Temperament work with families helps you:

    • Understand each child's unique needs for connection, structure, and affection
    • Parent each child according to how they're made, rather than one-size-fits-all
    • Ease sibling conflict by helping family members understand one another
    • Create a home where every person — parent and child alike — feels seen and valued
    • When parents learn the temperament of each child, discipline becomes discipleship, and the home becomes a place where every member can flourish.

    You were made on purpose, for a purpose.

    Whether you're seeking peace within yourself, healing in your marriage, or harmony in your home, temperament therapy offers a path that begins with how God designed you. I would be honored to walk it with you.

    “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,

    Because the LORD has anointed me

    To bring good news to the afflicted;

    He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

    To proclaim liberty to captives

    And freedom to prisoners;

    To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD

    And the day of vengeance of our God;

    To comfort all who mourn;

    To grant those who mourn in Zion,

    Giving them a garland instead of ashes,

    The oil of gladness instead of mourning,

    The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.

    So they will be called oaks of righteousness,

    The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

    — Isaiah 61:1–3
